1. Current performance comparison
Geopolymer concrete is a new cement-free green building material prepared by industrial solid wastes such as fly ash and slag through alkali excitation polymerization reaction, which has obvious low-carbon and environmental protection advantages compared with traditional Portland cement concrete. A large number of performance tests show that geopolymer concrete has lower carbon footprint, higher compressive strength and better acid and alkali corrosion resistance. It can fully utilize industrial solid waste resources, realizing waste recycling and low-carbon production. At present, the solid waste raw material pretreatment and alkali excitation preparation process of geopolymer concrete have been basically mature, and can realize stable laboratory and small-scale industrial production.
2. Deficiencies in engineering application
In practical engineering promotion, geopolymer concrete has prominent application deficiencies. Under low temperature construction environment, the polymerization reaction speed is slow, resulting in long setting time and low early strength, which seriously affects construction progress. The material has large drying shrinkage characteristics, and shrinkage cracks are easy to occur in the later stage of hardening, affecting structural durability. In addition, the dimensional stability of precast geopolymer concrete components is poor, and it is easy to produce deformation errors during mass production, which cannot meet the high-precision construction requirements of large-scale infrastructure projects.
3. Global development trend
With the global infrastructure industry's urgent demand for carbon reduction and anti-corrosion building materials, fiber hybrid toughened geopolymer concrete will become an important substitute for traditional high-carbon cement concrete. By mixing polypropylene fiber, basalt fiber and other composite fiber systems, the shrinkage crack resistance and structural toughness of geopolymer concrete are significantly improved, and the low-temperature construction adaptability is enhanced. In the future, this material will be widely promoted in overseas high-corrosion infrastructure fields such as coastal ports, offshore platforms and underground comprehensive pipe galleries, realizing large-scale replacement of traditional cement concrete.
4. Product technical landing
In order to realize the engineering popularization of geopolymer concrete, standardized product formulas and simplified on-site construction processes need to be formed. Optimize the raw material batching ratio and alkali excitation agent dosage to adapt to different temperature and humidity construction environments. Compile operable on-site construction operation manuals, including raw material pretreatment, mixing process, pouring and curing standards. Realize product finalization and standardized production, provide complete technical supporting services for overseas engineering projects, and promote the industrialization and international application of geopolymer concrete.
Conclusion
Fiber-reinforced geopolymer concrete effectively overcomes the low-temperature and shrinkage defects of pure geopolymer materials, possessing superior low-carbon and anti-corrosion performance compared with traditional cement concrete. With standardized formulas and construction systems, it can realize large-scale replacement in high-corrosion global infrastructure, becoming a core green alternative material for future low-carbon construction.
