1. Current industrial landing situation
With the global construction industry's emphasis on solid waste resource utilization and carbon neutrality goals, construction waste recycled aggregate concrete has been widely promoted in municipal engineering, landscape construction and non-load-bearing structural projects. At present, domestic construction waste crushing, screening and regeneration processing technologies have been mature. The recycled coarse and fine aggregates processed from abandoned concrete, bricks and stones can be stably applied to the production of commercial ready-mix concrete, and have achieved good application effects in road base, pavement cushion, landscape foundation and other projects, realizing the resource recycling of construction waste and reducing the consumption of natural stone resources.
2. Restricting technical problems
The popularization of recycled aggregate concrete in high-grade structural engineering is severely restricted by its own performance defects. The surface of recycled aggregate is attached with old cement mortar, resulting in high water absorption and large porosity. The internal micro-cracks generated during crushing lead to low aggregate strength and discrete overall performance of concrete. These problems make recycled concrete unable to meet the strength and durability requirements of superstructure and important load-bearing components, and can only be used in low-grade non-structural projects, resulting in low resource utilization value of construction waste.
3. Long-term industry planning
The core future development direction is to break through the high-value utilization technology of recycled aggregate and realize the transformation from low-grade application to high-grade structural application. Through interface reinforcement modification technology, the old mortar on the aggregate surface is removed and repaired, the internal micro-cracks are filled, the water absorption rate of recycled aggregate is reduced, and the overall strength and stability are improved. At the same time, actively align with international recycled building material certification standards, complete the standardized evaluation of recycled concrete performance, and break the technical barriers for domestic recycled building materials to enter the international market.
4. Industrial overseas layout
Accelerate the overseas industrial layout of recycled aggregate concrete technology and products, sort out the international certification system and export qualification standards for recycled building materials, and complete the qualification filing of products in overseas markets. Carry out technical cooperation with local construction enterprises in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions with large-scale urban renewal and construction waste generation, export construction waste on-site regeneration processing technology and modified recycled concrete products, build an overseas solid waste resource utilization business model, and help the global construction industry achieve carbon neutrality goals.
Conclusion
Interface modification technology effectively improves the structural performance of recycled aggregate concrete, realizing high-value reuse of construction waste. Promoting standardized modification processes and international certification can expand its application from non-structural to key engineering fields, providing a feasible technical path for global construction waste recycling and industrial carbon neutrality realization.
